Everyone intrested in Korea must have heard about Yoo Jae Suk at least once. He is probably one of the most loved people in Korea. Beside being a comedian, he is a host and has grown into a true television Personality.

Yoo Jae Suk was born on 14th of August 1972, Seoul, South Korea. He has hosted several variety television shows, such as the famous Running man and Infinite Challenge. He is currently signed under FNC Entertainment. He is the elders of 3 siblings and attended Seoul Institute of the Arts. However, he was unable to graduate due to his busy schedule as up coming comedian.

Carreer
Yoo Jae Suk´s tv debut was on KBS Comedian Festival in 1991, where he performed a parody of commercial together with Choi Seung Gyung. One other memorable moment was his dance cover of “Step by Step” – New Kids on the Block. After 9 years as a relatively unknown comedian, he got recommendated by Choi Jin Sil in 2002, and was able to host the program “Live and Enjoy Together”. Afterward he was able to co-host “The Crash of MCs” together with Kang Ho Dong, Lee Hwi Jae and Kim Han Seok. Afterward he rose to the top.

Variety
Due to his later hosted show “X-man”, He gained the title “The nation´s MC” During this time his popularity increased. After low rating and views they cancelled this show, only to come up with a new one in 2005. Infinite Challenge. Yoo Jaesuk has been the Host in chief ever since, and has been one of the program´s founding members. Even though the program had a slow start, since December 2, 2006, the program has received the highest ratings for Prime time lineups on Saturday evening. With “Infinite Challenge” being the forerunner of many other variety shows, it is to no surprise that this is dubbed as “the national variety show”.

Talk Shows
Yoo Jae Suk also co hosts “Come to play” and “Happy Together season 3” together with Kim Won Hee. Happy together is one of the longest running talks shows in Korea and has consistently earned high ratings.

Family outing and Running man
He became the main host of Family Outing as part of the SBS’s Good Sunday lineup. Together with Lee Hyori, Yoon Jong-shin, Kim Su-ro, Lee Chun-hee, Kang Dae-sung, Park Ye-jin and Kim Jong-kook they form the “family” of cast members on this show. This too is one of the top-rated shows in Korea.

In July 2010, the urban action variety show called Running man started. Together with HaHa, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Leessang´s Gary, Song Ji Hyo, Lee Kwang Soo, Song Joong Ki, Yoo Jae Suk hosts this program where they run around cities in order to complete missions. This too wasn´t highly rated at first, but it rose up and became very popular later on.

Guest appearances
In 2012, Yoo Jae Suk appeared in the famous music video for Psy´s “Gangnam Style”. In the video he acts as the retro disco dancing character he created for the Mock-band “Sagging Snail” in Infinite Challenge’s West Coast Highway Music Festival special.

After 5 years of being without an agency, Yoo Jae Suk signed an exclusive contract with FNC Entertainment on July 15th, 2015.

In 2016, Yoo Jae Suk also collaborated with EXO for the SM Station Single, “Dancing King” which was also collaboration for Infinite Challenge.
